About Paul Nardozzi
From Victor, New York, I grew up chasing one goal: compete at the highest level of baseball. At Victor High School I was named New York State Player of the Year and set the Section V strikeout record with 406 during my prep career. I went on to pitch at the University of Pittsburgh, where I’m still among the school’s all-time leaders in starts and strikeouts. In 2007 the Detroit Tigers selected me in the MLB Draft (31st round), and I went on to pitch professionally in the Tigers’ minor-league system, including standout seasons with the Oneonta Tigers and West Michigan Whitecaps. My time in pro ball taught me discipline, resilience, and how to perform under pressure — lessons that shape how I lead and compete in business today.
After baseball, I brought the same work ethic to entrepreneurship. I’m the owner-operator of a StretchLab franchise, where I still lead daily operations. Running a service business taught me firsthand what employers struggle with — managing costs, building culture, delivering exceptional experiences, and recruiting and retaining talent. Understanding people, systems, and outcomes on the ground is a big reason I founded Nardozzi Benefits — to help small and mid-sized employers solve big-picture problems in healthcare and benefits strategy.
My three kids are my priority off the field and out of the office. Balancing family, business ownership, and community responsibilities continually reinforces what matters most: health, stability, and opportunity. That’s what I build toward at Nardozzi Benefits — not just lower costs, but better benefits that support families and businesses alike.
